Marisa,
Thank you for this wonderful site, my gr.grandfather, grandfather, father, uncles and other family members had businesses in Reading Terminal for many years, and as a child I spent many an hour there. I remember the wonderful Ice Cream Cones, and the Amish baked goods. Thanks for the trip back down memory lane.

Marisa, I want to thank you for these stories and pic's. I used to work in center city from 1975 thru 1996. I would go to the Reading Terminal a LOT. I will on occasion go with my wife on a Saturday to pick up some fresh fish and sausages at Martins, (they are the best) my whole family agrees, and get an Italian hoagie from Rocco's. I miss it soooo much. In fact just writing this note I think I will make a point to go there this Saturday 7/28. We were going to go to the shore but decided to stay home. Could be for the best.
Again Thanks, Ted.

I thought perhaps we would run into each other in some sort of Internet serendipity, but no.
